Explanation of the title song…
The closest I’ve come to actually following a serial is undoubtably Muktha by T.N Seetharam. His tranquility in the most adverse circumstances is something I find pretty inspiring; I’d even say he’s a kind of role model.
My name on this site is only incidental but this page really belongs to all the Muktha fans who are actively contributing as well as passively reading it. Who knows, maybe someone of us can get Mr. T.N. Seetharam to actually have a look at this some day 
if not get involved or comment on it – he seems to be a pretty busy man. There are also some excellent ideas like putting up audio/video of the serial on the net (depending on E TVs permission) or enabling Internet chat, etc, and maybe if anyone can post the lyrics of the title song.

In an interview in Deccan Herald:
Seetharam says that the bloggers post blogs on every episode of the serial and that is a feel good factor.
This site is definitely, afaik the only site where this used to happen. Thanks to the consistent commitment of VANI, DIYA, AMMU and SHRUTI and everyone else who’s given updates. That line is a direct acknowledgement to them!

Yeah bellur that’s a configurable value as well… was 5 but currently have set it to 10.
Guess confusion could be about which threads are active and which are the latest comments – earlier latest comments were viewed in the beginning, now one may have to look around.
I’d say that would depend on the usage – users should reply to active threads displayed on the current page – if they’re replying to some old thread in previous pages, then they better post it as a new comment instead!
It would’ve been good if the thread of the latest reply could ‘bubble’ on top… hmm probably a good feature for a next version

When it comes to thread the person who started the comment first should be last rather than the person who started it . That would be a perfect tree, here its ulta. Its just a suggestion pl do take other opinion too.

hey Prasanna there is an option ascending/descending and currently its set to descending. If I make it ascending, then not just teh person who started a thread, but the first page of comments will get displayed first
I did not implement the plug in, guess it can be given as feedback to them. -

Except for “Reply to this comment†link, there’s NO difference between previous site and current site at all.
If one does not click on any specific Reply to this comment link, but always uses the comment box at the bottom of the page (as before this change) then it is EXACTLY THE SAME as the earlier version!

i was one of the fans of Muktha serial. Without missing a day’s episode, I have watched this serial. Even if I had to missout at 9, I used to catch up at 11. Nice meeting all the Muktha Fans.

Yeah. So was I, the best part was that I was also called muktha, and I’ve been on the troupe of the serial’s activities many times. I’ve acted small small roles in the serial. And I dare say, the whole thing’s been a pleasure! Muktha revolutionized the Kannada world like never before. I was a person who never knew so much kannada though it was a mother tongue! Now, I’ve started using Kannada in everything! Thanks to Muktha!

Some one posted a blog asking if doctors and drug companies are imparting fright to people. For some reason the page banked out and I could not find the blog to reply. Any way I am pleased to join Kannada blog, I am from Bangalore but am in London and often am in Bangalore.
Doctors in general are not scaremongers but some may be driven by money and are likly to be because they have invested large sums to get educated. I do not blame them, because the society has driven them to be what they are.
People expect doctors to drop everything and run to help others but forget they are human with family too. Drug companies are driven by shareholders and are only money oriented so I can’t comment.
My mission is to reduce plastic disposables used in hospitals and so have small solution for a major medical disaster. As doctors, we were made to beleive we can fight nature and so disrespected micro-organisams. Now these bugs have woken up and are threatening mankind.
These are called as “Superbug” (MRSA) but I think this as “Kali”. She has 8 enzymes (poisions) and can kill people in 12-24 hours and we cannot do anything to save the unlucky ones. This remindes of Smallpox era, people used to take children to “Doddamma Temple” and doctors were helpless.

second day it is alundathi continuing with another cousins family her daughter is not well she has come for treatment. in first episode she met TNS advocate she had no money she tells him she could not draw money from ATM so requests for Rs.500 first he gives her 500 and when she tells it is for test etc. with doctors he gives her another Rs.1500 saying that for tests and all when she asked will not be sufficient. so it looks he is going to bring hospitals commercialization in to picture. where aru or alu stays that is another story father of the 4 children has sold all his land except 2 acres and 3 of children are working but not meeting ends. land has got a high value now and adjacent owner was trying to put fence covering a portion of their land land so they went (children and stopped that) father is irresponsible character in the name of bhajane he goes to play cards and what all lands say about 43 acres he lots for this and maintain house. so real estate around cities is the issue looks like he wants to tackle.
shivakrishna desai has been overthrown and there is new CM with all bad people in his cabinet. he sends a word to a leader of opposition and talks to him requesting him to bring desai to him and he wants to make him CM but opposition leader thrashed him how he back stabbed him and now with what face he wants him back etc. etc., finally the new CM shows his medical report and says he is counting his days and has kept this a secret. he has realized his mistake and he wants to correct it before he leaves he has got blood cancer
and it is in advanced stage and doctors have said no chance this is summary of first two episodes.
mostly I will miss next 2 or 3 episodes and I suggest we all will go back to sanjays blog and continue mukta discussions there what others say? as we all together because of that site I feel we should revive our links there any how democracy majority decision prevails. veena has opened a page in MB blog also

What made my heart skip a beat was the open confession of TNS in the first episode where he said he was ruined by the failed movie and when was keeping himeself to sidelines, a few good friends encouraged him and hence this new serial. Kudos to the man for having woken up to say ‘failure is the corner stone of success’ and also to have such great friends in modern times.

yesterday it was nothing special political scene continues shivakrishna desai agrees to meet CM after hearing about his health condition. wait and watch whether he will become cm again. last scene is it alundathis alu alu she is now alone deserted by all so on and so forth. I hope the coming days will bring real issues of real estate, all agriculture lands becoming either industrial areas or sites, food shortage that is going to come, commercialization of medical profession.

First few episodes are quite boring as told by you and there are suddent twists like Manmohan divorcing Alundathi and all the family members(the close knitted family) being busy with their own affairs.. These are very difficult to digest! -
Friday also it was dull only except for linking some music and conveying music will come to you help in distress and you can get involved. again political scene let us hope will get into grue soon and TNS will recover what all he has lost in meera madhava raghava.

yesterday it was another dull day politics taking turns tricks they play looks entry of CSP on cards some case of a son of a businness man is going on as his son run over some people killed 2 or so. CSP is public prosecutor and a very strict judge and as of now business man is happy as all witnesses except one turned hostile all told to bhavi mukya mantri aspirant now home minister., he has come for a favour he has constructed two unauthorised floors in apartments and corporations has issued demolition notice and he wants them to be cancelled. so on and on
other side the plight of middle class family marriage of girls issue really a burning problem alundhati for a change was not with alu but with nagu. -

A couple of days ago, some reader called me from Mysore requesting me to start a page for muktha muktha. This page is soon going to be revamped for muktha muktha… maybe next weekend or so hopefully. (Also I want to investigate if there’s some way to integrate google transliteration into wordpress or suggest an implementation of such a service to google in their suggest page. Any ideas from readers in this regard are also welcome).

Today I listened more closely to the new title song… the wordings were really quite moving particularly some of them. Hope to note down the lyrics or maybe someone here might provide them.
As I watched the episode today I felt I have really missed TNS all these days. I really enjoyed watching him again it was like catching up with an old friend
Summary of today’s story 24-Jun-08:
The ‘bajane’ gambling father says he actually earns money from gambling and had started with Rs 2000 and in a few months is on to 3000, and thats the source of income for him. He confesses that yesterday there was a police raid and thats why he’d come home so late. Arundathi tries to dissuade him but he also adds that staying at home he is tormented by memories of his late wife. He asks for a loan of Rs 50 from Arundathi who gives it to him. Later on everyone else in the family comes to know and criticises him and he realises that Arundathi herself had no money! They reimburse her later and she declines, and not sure whether she took it or not.A very dejected CSP meets the ex-CM SD. He says he was happier in Hemagiri and didnt want to take the post of public prosecuter, and still took it, and now wants to resign. The SD asks all his staff to leave them alone, and CSP goes on to talk about how corrupt the system is and even if the judge is strict how much can he do when all the witnesses are against the case. He just wants to resign and go home. SD just nods and we have to see what happens next.

Today’s episode was like a rewind of Muktha with CSP’s cross examination skills at the best display.
This time the judge is acting in CSP’s favour, but not the witnesses who act hostile, 10th in a row. Judge is annoyd, but CSP is not. The happening inside a court room is shown in a typical TNS style, and hope this is a beginning of another Muktha’s gripping court room visuals.

CSP is returned on the screen two day back he meets shivakrishna desai and says he wants to resign as state public prosecutor and explains how things are going on now and says there is a case of accident done by son on rich man in drunken stage killing twp boys (twins) who are only source of hope for the mother and 9 out of 10 witnesses have turned hostile and e is disgusted with the system how entire administration including home minister now are helping the accused because of money power.yesterday it was back to popular court scenes of CSP earlier he was fighting for people who are innocent and and are fixed in the murder case etc., now it is the other way he as a state public prosecutor was trying to get the accused the punishment he deserved against all odds. judge will retire in short time and he refuses adjournment sought by defense advocate. the last 10th witness is in box usual typical arguments between both lawyers over talks etc., happen judge brings back normalcy and after initial examination CSP requests court declare the witness as hostile and nicely books him during the course of the proceedings father of accused was sent out of the court by judge for giving signals etc., to witness
In his own style CSP brings the facts before the court
one thing I could not understand how a state public prosecutor is conducting a case in lower court he should be doing his work only in high court where mostly appeals will come in such criminal cases? there was no Alundathi episode so far so good less the alus best but sentimental touch which will make so many women folk happy and will crave will be part of the serial so we have to live with it.

but real life nalli nodidmele this seems too dramatic…considering the amount of time the judge spends in a day on one case…….avaagina thrill yaako sigtilla..maybe becos it’s become part of reality for me? -
